Why we keep the rounds this short.
A crew that never drives far can afford to be unhurried when it arrives. Short rounds mean the morning's first chimney sweeping starts on time, the free inspection gets the minutes it deserves, and a masonry repair can be checked on again a week later without ceremony. It also means we learn the housing itself: which blocks share the same builder and the same flue quirks, which streets take the wind, which brick came from which decade.
